Program Details

UND offers the online MS in Medical Laboratory Science. With this degree, students will understand the role of the clinical laboratory in producing positive patient outcomes, and be able to communicate that role within a team of healthcare professionals. In addition, students will be prepared to identify, critically assess, and/or problem solve issues related to professional practice in the field.

  • Two separate four day on-campus residency requirements
  • Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree and successful completion of the CLS (NCA), or MT/MLS (ASCP) certification examinations
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale) for the junior and senior years of undergraduate work
  • English language proficiency requirements, if applicable
  • At least 2 years of prior work experience in the field of medical laboratory science preferred
