Program Details

The University of North Dakota offers an online Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. The curriculum prepares students for taking on administrative roles and gaining analytical skills for public administration. Courses include areas of ethics, leaderships, research methods, public policy, and management theories.


  • A four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university 
  • One official copy of all academic transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Goals and Objectives
  • GRE/GMAT/or LSAT test scores
  • TOEFL Score for international students (if applicable)
  • Minimum competence in public administration, administrative sciences, and methodology
  • Twenty hours in the social sciences, business administration, and related field
