Program Details

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work through University of North Dakota online, students are prepared for entry-level positions in a variety of occupations.  This program prepares students to be eligible to take the social work licensing exam.  Studies will cover topics including but not limited to:

  • Human behavior
  • Generalist social work practice
  • Social policy

Within five years of earning this degree students are qualified to apply for the UND Advanced Standing MSW degree.  Popular minors combined with this major include Gerontology as well as Chemical Dependency.  Graduates with this degree may find pursuable pathways in a variety of careers, including healthcare, education, corrections, child welfare, adoption services, administration, and more.
