Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing is designed to strengthen the knowledge and expertise of RNs working in occupational health through a program for those seeking more formal education than continuing education classes but who are not yet ready to enter master’s degree programs.  Courses may include Occupational Health Nursing I, Occupational Safety and Ergonomics, Interdisciplinary Approaches to Occupational Health, and Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene.

Requirements

  • Students must come to campus for one 8-day session
  • Must hold a current RN licensure (BSN degree preferred)
  • Two professional letters of recommendation
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience
