Program Details

The online BS in Urban Studies & Planning from the University of New Orleans explores all aspects of urban development and sustainability, including neighborhood revitalization, housing, transportation, local economic development, cultural preservation, environmental planning, and sustainable communities. There are two concentrations available to suit students' personal interests and professional goals:

  • Transportation
  • Urban Planning

Requirements

  • Transcripts from each institution attended
  • All in-state applicants are required to have a high school core GPA of 2.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale based on the Regents' Core (Core 4 or TOPS University Curriculum)
  • ACT/SAT scores
  • Out-of-state applicants must have completed at least 17 of the 19 credits of the academic core curriculum and achieved at least a 2.5 core GPA, as calculated by UNO Admissions
