Program Details

The online Certificate in Tribal Management & Emergency Services program helps students understand the self-governance within the Tribal Nations and how they simultaneously conduct governmental tribal functions while cooperating and complying with many government regulations and laws.  You will learn about the complex system of administration and the challenges for Native Governments, especially when there are man-made or natural disasters that threaten tribal lands and interests.  Students gain an understanding of the complex legal, historical, and cultural issues affecting tribal government management and how important the provision of crisis response is to provide routine and emergency services to native communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA
  • Official high school transcript and/or official GED equivalency scores
  • SAT or ACT scores (waived for applicants graduating prior to 1997 and transfer students)
