Program Overview

The online Ph.D. in Nursing degree program from the University of Missouri-St Louis is designed to prepare graduates for the rigors of a research-oriented academic position. The program is a traditional research doctorate with both the broad discipline of nursing as well as in-depth study of a specific area. Graduates are prepared to advance the knowledge and science of nursing, act as stewards of the profession, and educate new nurse researchers.
