Program Details

Enroll in online instructional design programs and enhance professional opportunities.  This program prepares educators to design and implement educational programs through an online platform.  Educators learn practices and methods for using technology effectively in the distance learning environment.  

The curriculum provides knowledge and skill in designing and delivering online distance learning by:

• Developing expertise in emerging practices in e-learning
• Gaining an understanding of key learning theories and applying them
• Engaging with current research about online teaching, learning, and design
• Participating in a learning community

Students have the option of pursuing this certificate alone or with the M.Ed. in Professional Studies in Learning Technologies.
