The online Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree supports intellectual, professional, and personal learning.  This liberal arts degree features a flexible curriculum that provides students with the opportunity to undertake independent studies, complete individual research, and create projects that reflect personal interests.  The curriculum focuses on American thought and culture, engaging students in a critical, multidisciplinary examination of the American experience as you explore race, gender, equality, politics, religion, and popular culture.  Coursework builds knowledge and skills in self-discipline, self-knowledge, analysis, critical and creative thinking, and effective communication.  Graduates gain a deeper understanding of our nation and the historical themes and contexts that shape it.
