Certificate in Management Foundations

The school offers a wide range of certificate and degree programs to meet the diverse needs of all of its students. One such program is the school's Certificate in Management Foundations (CMF).
The CMF program prepares students for management and advisory positions in a variety of public- and private-sector career fields. The courses, which focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge, help students upgrade their skills to advance their careers. Advancing into a management positions has many perks. All students are required to complete six courses to earn their degree (totaling 18 credits). Three of those courses are required, one covers finance topics, and two are electives for the students to choose. Required classes are Management and Organization Theory, Marketing Principles, and Human Resource Management. With the correct combination of classes, students can incorporate this program with UMUC's Bachelor of Business Administration degree program.
