Program Details

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) offers the online Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Students will acquire the tools needed to confidently and competently thrive in legal environments. Students will learn to produce and review legal forms and documents, apply statutes to legal cases, and assess fact patterns. Students will examine the organization, function, and processes of the lawmaking institutions in the American legal system, as well as the role of the paralegal in the legal system and the governing rules of legal ethics.
