Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Public Administration is designed for students who want to complete core MBA courses and learn about Public Administration in greater detail, preparing them to advance in the field.  The Public Administration concentration provides competencies in the public sector, human resources, and leadership so you are ready to serve community needs and demands at all levels.  Graduates are able to synthesize content from professional journals and scholarly research to make conclusions regarding business practices.  Students will also learn to assess public sector best practices using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.  The program is grounded in Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine values that will enrich the students’ lives and careers.  You will also receive personal advising and career mentoring services to help you achieve your degree.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • GPA of 2.5 overall, or 2.75 during the last two years of the undergraduate degree, or 3.0 in a major field

    • A waiver is available for applicants who have three preparatory classes in Finance, Accounting, and Economics, or may qualify for a waiver if certain conditions are met
