Program Details

The University of Kentucky (UK) offers an online Master’s of Rehabilitation Counseling degree. The online environment of this course offers students increased flexibility and convenience of attending class during their free time. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become professional rehabilitation counselors. Graduates should be able to help persons with physical, mental, developmental, cognitive and emotional disabilities to reach their personal, career and independent goals and potentials. The main goal of the program is to assist in improving the quality of life of patients with whom students will come in contact.

  • An overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 and 3.00 on all graduate work is required of degree-seeking students
  • Applicants are required to engage in a personal interview with the Rehabilitation Counseling Program Faculty and students
