Program Details
The online Nurse Leader Graduate Certificate gives students the additional skills and training necessary to become a nurse manager. The three courses can be completed fully online, with credits applied toward a MSN in Nursing and Health Systems Leadership for students who choose to further their education.
Courses examine organizational theories and principles of human resource management that can be used to improve and promote quality nursing care. Students learn budgeting strategies necessary for managing departments. Classes encourage students to demonstrate creativity and critical thinking in solving business problems in healthcare settings.

- Must have graduated from a regionally accredited NLN-AC or CCNE nursing program
- Must have a unencumbered RN license with eligibility for licensure in Indiana
- Provide evidence of eight hours of shadowing with an FNP, NNP, or AGNP in a primary care or urgent care setting
