Master of Science in Natural Resources

Program Details

The online Master of Science in Natural Resources program provides the knowledge and research experiences students need to contribute to solutions to the increasingly complex problems facing our natural world.  The curriculum encompasses a wide range of natural resource disciplines and issues, ranging from forest resources and conservation sciences, to fire science and wildlife and fisheries resources, to rangeland management and forest products.  The program offers both a non-thesis and a thesis option as students explore topics such as landscapes after wildland fire, invasive plant and animal species, new and better building materials, alternative wood-based energy sources, better remote sensing and GIS tools, wild fish runs, wildlife habitats, human interactions with the environment, and many more.
