Program Details
University of Houston offers an online Master of Education in Special Populations / Special Education. The focus of this program is to develop teachers who can lead students with special learning needs. The curriculum emphasizes the roles and responsibilities of those teachers, and focuses on using assistive technology and behavioral methods. Students can choose to study a focus of Special Education or Gifted & Talented.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on all graduate work attempted, if applicable
