Program Details

University of Houston offers an online psychology degree, the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  This program is designed for students who have completed Texas Core Curriculum courses and are ready to finish a degree.  With this in mind, only the upper division classes are available online.  The online bachelor’s in psychology covers the study of human beings, their cognitive and emotional growth, and how they interact with their environment.  You will learn about the influences of genetics, biology, society, and culture on human behavior and about ways applied research leads to enhanced adaptive behaviors.

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology prepares students for careers in social services, service-oriented industries, and other positions in the private and public sectors.  The Bachelor of Science in psychology combines psychology and computer technology, preparing students for positions combining those or within medicine and industry.
