Program Details

The bachelors degrees in Psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria allow students to gain a broad understanding of the scope of Psychology. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, communication skills, research, and ethics.

Graduates of this online bachelor’s in Psychology will be prepared for careers in local and state service agencies, community organizations, or mental health programs. Students can also go on to pursue a graduate degree in Psychology fields including clinical, health, counseling, school, industrial/organizational, developmental, social, and experimental/research.

Psychology students will study topics such as:

Requirements

Must meet 2 of 3 criteria including:

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (out of 4.0)
  • ACT score (18 or higher) or SAT score (860 prior to 3/2016, 940 after 3/2016)
  • Top 50% of class rank
