Certificate of Completion in Management Essentials
Individuals who wish to enter into a management position in business may wish to consider earning a certificate to either advance their current career, or gain knowledge in a new position. Leeward Community College’s certificate of Completion of Management Essentials program will show students the necessary skills to become successful in this career. This program requires 15-18 credits to complete, and all credits may be fulfilled in one semester, depending on the amount of time students dedicate to the learning process. The courses required for the certification are as follows: Business Computer Systems, Computing Literacy and Applications, Digital Tools for the Info World, Customer Service, Composition I, and Business Writing. All of these courses collectively will provide participants with essential management skills, as well as the knowledge necessary to advance to various levels of administrative and supervisory positions.
