Master of Science in Financial Planning

Program Details

The online Master of Science in Financial Planning is a non-thesis master’s program designed for individuals who are seeking to sit for the Certified Financial Planner examination while also seeking a master’s degree level experience that goes beyond certificate education.  Courses explore the financial planning profession with experienced tenure-track faculty, teaching students how to help manage income, assets, and debts for individuals and families.  Graduates find employment in companies such as banks, insurance companies, brokerage firms, or in benefits and pension departments of corporations, or may choose to establish their own practices or businesses.

Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor's degree from any institution accredited by the proper regional accrediting association
  • GRE or GMAT test scores (may be eligible for waiver)
