Program Details

The online Master of Science in Forest Resources & Conservation with a concentration in Natural Resource Policy & Administration program is designed for natural resource or environmental science professionals who are interested in advancing their careers by earning graduate degrees.  The curriculum provides training in policy, analysis, human management, and organizational administration, preparing students for careers focused in biology, statistics, ecology, geology, and other sciences.  Graduates have knowledge and skills in implications of natural resource policy and economic theory to resource management, the application of policy and economic theory regarding legislation and administration of natural resources, communication skills, and critical thinking skills which allows them to identify, evaluate, and manage conflicts while analyzing natural resource policies and economics.
