Masters of Education in Educational Leadership

Program Details

The University of Florida’s Master of Science in Education is made possible by the university’s College of Education, and was designed with working educators in mind who wouldn’t normally have the freedom to pursue a traditional master’s certificate on-campus due to family, location, or work commitments. This program helps prepare candidates for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam, which leads to Florida Certification.

  • An academic or scholarly paper of at least 3-5 pages

  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
  • GRE Scores

Restrictions

UF is partially authorized for residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, and Washington. States pending authorization include: Kansas, Michigan, New York, and Oregon.

Distance education programs in allied health professions, counseling, education, nursing, social work, and veterinary medicine may require additional approval from state licensing agencies or boards. Out-of-state students who are considering applying to a professional program should contact the licensing agency or board in their state prior to enrollment.
