Program Details

The University of Florida’s Master of Science in Pharmacy with a Concentration in Clinical Pharmacy is a course of study that is offered to interested students. This particular concentration is particularly interesting because it is designed for international students. This program is intended for overseas pharmacists who have earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree, or the international equivalent, to advance their clinical pharmacy skills, enhance the role of the health care team, and, ultimately, make a greater impact on patient care in their prospective communities. This groundbreaking course of study was launched in Fall 2013, and intends to pave the way to revolutionizing this field.

The Master of Science in Pharmacy with a Concentration in Clinical Pharmacy program’s curriculum consists of 12 courses, or 36 total credit hours. The minimum length required to complete all of the requisite coursework is approximately two years. All courses are delivered online, guided by University of Florida’s faculty members who are leaders in the Pharmaceutical field in terms of groundbreaking research and years of meaningful on-site experience. Students will meet weekly online with instructors and fellow cohorts. In addition to the online classes, students will participate in clinical practice experiences which may be completed in the student’s home country or the United States. Graduates of this program may possess the patient care knowledge and skills necessary to succeed and expand career opportunities in this meaningful field.
