Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Gas Turbines program is designed to prepare students to enter careers related to gas turbine technologies.  The curriculum includes areas of emphasis in theory and analysis of gas turbine engines and components, fatigue life, mechanical design, fatigue life analysis, energy conversion, physical metallurgy, strengthening alloys, process selection, and design principles for elevated temperature applications.  Graduates will have a competitive edge in this field.


  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, technology, or a closely related discipline
  • 3.0 undergraduate GPA, or a minimum of five years of professional employment experience in an engineering discipline
