Program Overview

The University of Florida’s (UF) Graduate level Certificate Program in Art Administration is a course of study that is offered through an entirely online format. This program is accessible through UF’s College of Fine Arts, and is designed to help working professionals who in the arts industry become leaders of their respective organizations. Through this program, students may be able to further their education and enrich their careers without sacrificing their work and family life.

Such businesses include nonprofit museums, symphonies, architecture, and advertising organizations. Some of the responsibilities of an art administrator include staff management, marketing, public relations, program development, budget management, fundraising, and board relations. The core curriculum of the program consists of three credits, or nine semester hours of classes. The courses within this program span topics such as Arts Advocacy & Public Policy, Arts in Action: Consulting Project in Performing Arts Management, and Arts Administration Leadership.
