Program Details

The online ME in Space Operations degree program is designed to provide in-depth technical knowledge and skills to working professionals involved in civil, military, or commercial space operations, space systems requirements and design specifications, payload and mission support, and space systems analysis. Graduates are prepared to:

  • Translate a need, relating to a space mission, into a feasible system design
  • Apply the principles, concepts, and methods of course work to the effective design and application of space systems to fulfill a practical mission need


This program requires 30 credits for completion.

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a closely related technical field from an accredited institution
  • Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Undergraduate coursework in Calculus I, Linear Algebra and calculus-based Physics I
  • Two or more years of experience in industrial, civil, or government engineering or technical professional positions
  • Three letters of recommendation
