Program Details

The Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language will give you the foundation and knowledge necessary to work with ELLs. Students will study material in courses such as Linguistically Diverse/Multicultural Education, Methods, Materials and Theories for ELL's and Language and Linguistics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Overall undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or better. Three letters of reference. Career Goal Statement. Current resume. Complete a background check or an unofficial copy of your teaching license. Interview with a faculty advisor.
