Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado is an online sociology degree focused on human interaction and behavior.  This is a degree completion program that is designed for students with an AA or who have completed the minimum requirements to enter.  Courses target methods of social science that provide students with knowledge about societal forces, thoughts, beliefs, and behavior.  The curriculum combines scientific and human perspectives in the study of urban and rural life, family patterns and relationships, social change, health care and illness, social movements, and other social issues.  You will gain a strong liberal arts foundation while gaining critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills.
