Program Details

The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for advanced leadership roles with higher levels of commitment and professionalism using an interdisciplinary approach to learning.  The curriculum includes sociology, law, psychology, public administration, and criminal justice courses that provide an understanding of conceptual and theoretical frameworks.  You will learn about crime and criminal justice, be able to assess problems through an empirical evidence-based approach, and facilitate improved policy analysis.  Graduates are skilled in information gathering, processing, and problem solving.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
  • Official transcripts
  • Overall 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) or higher from all previous undergraduate coursework; or a 2.75 GPA or higher with approved work experience, graduate work, or eligible GRE test scores
  • One letter of recommendation
