Program Overview

The University of Central Missouri’s Master of Science in Technology program is designed for individuals who already possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Students work with technology, software applications, and other equipment. Graduates may gain employment as vice president of operations, production managers, shift supervisors, quality systems managers, plant managers, or within various other related positions, or pursue a Ph.D. in Technology Management.

    Requirements

    Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 or have received at least a 3.0 in Research Methods, Legal Aspects of Industry, and one three-hour course from the approved graduate electives program listing. Must have a bachelors degree. A career goal statement.

    Founded in 1871, the University of Central Missouri, located in Warrensburg, Missouri, is a four-year, public university originally known as State Normal School District, #2. It later became Warrensburg Teachers College and went through several other name changes before becoming the University of Central Missouri in 1996.
