Program Details

The online Master of Science in Forensic Science program is designed for both practicing professionals and students, preparing them to advance within the interdisciplinary field of forensic science in order to make an impact in crime resolution.  The diverse, innovative curriculum offers a deep understanding of how science and technology can be used to resolve crimes and teaches students how to use modern forensic topics and technologies to lead forensic investigations.  The flexible program offers three concentrations so that each student can focus on the area that is of the most interest to them.  Available concentrations are:

  • Forensic Analysis
  • Forensic Biochemistry
  • Forensic Professional

Requirements

  • One official transcript from each college/university attended
  • GRE score
  • A bachelor's in Forensic Science or another physical science, based on at least 30 hours of college-level science subjects, that provides the background required to be successful in the proposed program
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Short (one page) statement describing why the applicant wants to pursue an advanced degree in Forensic Science
