Program Details

The online Master of Science in Engineering/Structural Materials provides students with a broad understanding of the fundamental concepts of structural engineering. Students study fracture mechanics, damage tolerance, failure analysis and prevention, structural integrity, and more. This online master’s degree can be completed in up to three academic years.

A sample of classes include:

  • Composites manufacturing
  • Advanced composite materials
  • Computer simulations of materials

This degree requires no thesis, but does require either a capstone project or passing three written exams for three different graduate-level courses within the student’s area of specialization.
