Program Details

The online Master of Science in Engineering/Materials Science is designed for students who wish to understand the microstructure of solids and apply this to their careers. Students learn the design, fabrication, and testing of engineering materials. This degree does not require a thesis.

Classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Advanced composite materials
  • Analytical fracture mechanics
  • Physics of materials

Classes are taught by professional instructors. This online degree requires either a capstone project or passing three written exams for three different graduate-level courses within the student’s area of specialization.
