Built on a former P.T. Barnum (of circus fame) estate, the university embraces the tradition of spectacular acts with degrees not offered in many other schools on the East Coast. Students can delve into naturopathy, Chinese medicine, medical laboratory sciences, and chiropractic studies at UB.
With a nearly 100-year history, the university prides itself on a reputation for diversity in both students and faculty. Recently, UB organized 13 divisions within the school into three rings, err, colleges:
