Program Details

Prepare for a managerial or executive-level job in food safety. With this online agriculture degree, you will complete an interdisciplinary curriculum that spreads across agricultural, food, and life sciences. Expand your scientific knowledge in food safety, quality assurance, and risk assessment by completing such courses as:

• Principles of Food Microbiology
• Food Biosecurity
• Foodborne Diseases
• Safety & Sanitation for the Food Industry
• Food Toxicology & Contaminants  

As you study, you will complete one course per semester, all taught by the same faculty who teach on campus. There is no thesis required. All students complete a special problems research project with an oral presentation and examination.
