Program Details

The U of A offers a Dyslexia Endorsement for those wanting a graduate-level program in reading and literacy. Besides teaching competency in the foundational concepts of literacy acquisition, this online reading and literacy program results in the following:

• Knowledge of student reading profiles
• The application and interpretation of assessments to create literacy instruction plans
• Demonstration of professionalism for teachers

The online coursework in reading and literacy provides the requirements to request the dyslexia endorsement from the Arkansas Department of Education. Those in other states can check with their department of education for acceptance of these credits.
