Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Paramedic Science is a completion program that is designed for paramedic graduates.  The program helps students earn an associate degree by completing general education courses which prepares them for careers as paramedics or to advance in their careers.  Coursework provides skills including effective communication, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and complex problem-solving.

Requirements

This is an associate completion degree requiring 70 total credits, including the previous completion of 40 credits or an equivalent paramedic certificate program.

  • EMT-Paramedic License
  • Official transcripts documenting evidence of an earned degree from an accredited institution or of high school graduation, or the equivalency including: General Education Development (GED), High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE), and Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC)
  • Official college transcripts
  • Assessment exam may be required
