The online Master of Public Health in Health Care Organization and Policy introduces students to the public health system and the fundamental skills necessary for practice in the public health sector and managing health care organizations, preparing them for management-focused careers in public health. Courses teach students about the economic, legal, organization, and political underpinnings of the U.S. health system; how to apply principles of management, finance, marketing, accounting, and strategic planning in health care organizations; and how to apply basic planning and management skills necessary for successful administration of health care organizations.
- Open to students with a bachelor's degree and must demonstrate their aptitude for biological sciences and mathematics by virtue of their college transcripts
- An undergraduate GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
