Program Details

The online Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering program is beneficial for structural design engineers, structural work inspectors, Civil Engineering project managers, structural materials and design innovators, and project engineers with onsite structural inspection responsibilities.  This program provides the skills and knowledge students need to advance in their careers or to enter the field and begin the careers that they want.  Core courses may include:

  • Advanced Mechanics of Materials for Structural Engineers
  • Advanced Structural Analysis
  • Advanced Design of Concrete Structures
  • Bridge Engineering
  • Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited U.S. College or University
  • Original transcripts
  • Minimum undergraduate prerequisites or equivalent

  • Principles of Steel Design
  • International students who do not have a degree from an accredited U.S. institution are required to submit GRE and TOEFL scores.
