Program Details

The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Union Institute & University is an online counseling degree.  This program prepares you for certification or licensure as a professional counselor or clinical mental health counselor.  The unique structure of this program combines online coursework, face-to-face academic experience, and live/synchronous meetings between students and expert faculty with doctoral degrees and practitioner experience.  Faculty are committed to preparing students to become advanced practitioners in the field of counseling and to building connections to the broader counseling professional network.  This master’s in counseling degree can be used for advanced training, as a means to pursue licensing and certification, or as a foundation for doctoral research.
