Program Details

The online RN to BSN degree completion program from Union College prepares students to:

  • Use knowledge, theory, evidence, and clinical reasoning to provide nursing care for patients across the lifespan
  • Participate in the coordination of care through an inter-professional teamwork approach to care for individuals and groups of patients
  • Manage the provision of nursing care through effective leadership and organizational skills
  • Practice within the context of professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal codes
  • Participate in political and regulatory processes that affect the health and well-being of society
  • Evaluate and use current and relevant technology and health care informatics


This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 120 credits are required, including transfer credits.

  • An associate in applied science in nursing or diploma in nursing
  • Grade point average (GPA) of 2.00
  • A grade of C or above in all sciences
  • A license to practice nursing in Kentucky or a Compact state
