Program Details

The online Associate in Science in Criminal Justice program is designed for those interested in obtaining professional careers in the criminal justice field, preparing them to continue their academic studies by earning bachelor’s degrees at four-year institutions.  The curriculum helps students gain an understanding of the overall criminal justice system.  Students learn about the development of laws, examine criminal justice and social science data, gain an understanding of the Constitution, and learn about current trends and concerns including terrorism, hate crime, cyber-crime, and societal violence.  You will understand and commit to the moral and legal obligations of criminal justice professionals and improve critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and research skills.
