The online Associate in Science in Mathematics program provides students with analytical and critical thinking skills so they can apply mathematics in a variety of contexts related to science, technology, or real-world issues. Students learn to communicate mathematically using symbolic, graphical, numerical, and written representations of mathematics; to integrate techniques from various branches of mathematics; and to evaluate the reasonableness of solutions. Graduates are prepared to further their educations or move into fields like chemistry, engineering, computer science, statistics, or physics in careers that may range from financial analysts to computer graphics designers.
