Program Details

The online Master of Science in Public Health in Industrial Hygiene provides the knowledge and skills to identify workplace hazards, to comply with government regulations, and to manage occupational exposures and risk.  Courses teach students to use analytical methods to identify exposures, estimate risk and use engineering; improve work practices; and inform protective equipment use to control potential health hazards.  Graduates are able to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control workplace conditions in order to prevent injury and illness in workers through environmental and workplace monitoring.


  • Baccalaureate degree with GPA of 3.0
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental health or closely related field
