With a Master of Science in Public Health concentrating in Industrial Hygiene, you will learn how to manage and prevent hazardous conditions in the workplace. Using environmental and occupational monitoring, students will work to identify exposure, eliminate risk, and control potential health hazards.

Courses provide skills and knowledge in understanding government regulations related to the field. Students will learn how to quantify and evaluate occupational health risks through the use of analytical chemistry, statistics, and other sciences. Graduates of this program will receive one year of credit toward the experience requirement to sit for the Certified Industrial Hygienist exam from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
