The online Master of Science in Environmental & Biological Sciences program with a concentration in Environmental Policy broadens students’ perspectives and provides skills and knowledge for understanding and solving problems in the environmental and biological sciences field. The curriculum teaches direct and indirect economic, social, and political contributions of the environmental and biological sciences while underscoring the interdisciplinary and cooperative nature of environmental and biological issues. Students will learn how to manage conflicts in a program that emphasizes the importance of effectively communicating with the private and public sectors, regulatory agencies, interest groups, and communities.
- Must have a baccalaureate degree, preferably in a technical subject area
- Should have completed ecology and one junior/senior level (3000/4000) biology course
- One year of general chemistry and one course in statistics
- A minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or a 3.0 grade point average on the last 30 semester hours
