Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership

Program Details

Trident University International offers an online Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership for educators who are looking to make an impact on K-12 or higher education students. Fully online, this program develops leadership skills through the coursework, research, exams, and dissertation.


  • A conferred master's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on the transcripts of the most recently conferred master's degree (4.0 scale)
  • Written and oral communication skills sufficient to conduct and deliver the results of meaningful research
  • Sufficient analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Information technology skills sufficient to effectively participate in the doctoral pedagogical model
  • Students who have not earned a master's degree must also have:
    • A conferred bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
    • A minimum GPA of 3.6 on the transcript of the bachelor's degree
    • GRE or GMAT scores as required
