Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College combines core general education classes with electives in criminal justice.  With this degree, you can enter law enforcement positions to serve your community on the local or state level.  Besides introductory classes in corrections, criminal justice and criminology, your coursework will include:

  • Social sciences
  • Liberal arts & sciences
  • Computer technology

There is an optional internship component of this AAS.  Credits you earn at Tompkins Courtland may be applied towards a bachelor’s degree at  4-year universities within the New York state system.
