Master of Business Administration / Marketing

Program Details

Tiffin University offers the Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing for students, managers, and professionals in marketing who are interested in developing their knowledge of principles, practices, and strategies utilizing advertising, media, and other forms of marketing for organizations and communities that have the need to advertise their products and services. Students will learn about marketing fundamentals alongside social media and Internet-based marketing practices and strategies. In addition, they will examine global perspectives in marketing by assessing international marketplaces and cultural factors that influence marketing strategies and learn to collaborate with others whose responsibilities include finding new ways to sell products and services.

Students will focus on a curriculum that emphasizes the roles and responsibilities of marketers and communications professionals within an organization. Some of the classes in which students will participate include Statistical Methods for Managers, Managerial Finance, and Marketing Field Analysis.

Upon completion of the program, students should have demonstrated the necessary professional and educational qualifications necessary for advanced roles in marketing departments and marketing organizations. These qualifications may include understanding of theory, tools, skills, practices, and research related to marketing and the ability to utilize this knowledge in a creative and critical manner, effective professional and interpersonal practices essential in marketing, development of a range of professional strategies that promote their effectiveness in a business environment, and be able to explain the broader role that business has in society and their own responsibilities as a member of the business community and citizens in society.


Applicants must have an accredited bachelors degree. Applicants with at least a 3.0 GPA will be accepted. Applicants not meeting this qualification will be reviewed, with those having a 2.5+ GPA and 5 or more years of professional work experience considered first. Resume.
