Master of Business Administration / General Management
Tiffin University offers a Master of Business Administration degree for students and professionals in businesses who are interested in developing advanced and specialized knowledge of business management and business organizations in order to develop themselves as administrators and managers. Students will learn about the communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills necessary for business and entrepreneurship and in developing career options in management and administration. Students will take part in a curriculum that aims to develop their managerial and leadership capabilities in business. Those classes include Information and Decision Support, Statistical Methods for Managers, and Legal and Ethical Issues, among others.
Students completing the program should possess the ability to design appropriate software system structures in response to application needs, organizational environment, and technical ecology, to make appropriate design choices based on system, service, and business process needs, and to analyze social, legal, ethical, and professional issues in business and technical decision making. These students should also be able to employ best communication practices with business partners, users, customers, and third-party providers, to use sound evaluation practices to select appropriately among competing technologies and technical approaches, and to manage business processes through analysis, design, and optimization in response to organizational needs.
