Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of West Florida is designed for students interested in advancing in this area of business.  The Business Analytics curriculum relates business analytics to specific managerial decision-making scenarios, providing tools to make data-driven decisions in various business environments.  You will learn to communicate with management about the appropriate types of data mining to apply in different business scenarios depending on the data set and organizational context and emphasis is placed on data integrity and data privacy.  Students learn about research study and about what is appropriate in various industries, learn to collect relevant data, and are able to report findings and recommendations while also learning to analyze the impact of various courses of action and present arguments to support recommendations.  The curriculum also covers core MBA topics including leadership, management, accounting, finance, marketing, and strategies.
